Dr Aparna Dhayade is a highly experienced General Paediatrician with over 20 years of expertise in acute and chronic paediatric care. Her clinical scope includes neonatal care, developmental and behavioural paediatrics, eating disorders, and the management of complex medical conditions, including the ongoing care of preterm infants. Dr Dhayade is VMO Paediatrics at Hawksbury Public Hospital.

She completed her Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Australia, and has held positions in some of the country’s leading healthcare institutions, including:

  • The Children’s Hospital at Westmead
  • Nepean Hospital
  • Campbelltown Hospital

Special Interests

Dr Dhayade is passionate about providing holistic, family-centred care to children with chronic and complex health needs. Her special interests include:

  • Neonatal care and support post-NICU discharge
  • Developmental and behavioural paediatrics
  • Eating disorders and adolescent health
  • Long-term follow-up of medically complex or preterm children
