Dr Martina Popelkova is a highly experienced Consultant Paediatrician consulting at Macarthur Paediatrics. She obtained her medical degree from Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic, and completed her specialist paediatric training at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
Dr Martina has worked extensively across both metropolitan and rural hospitals in Australia. Her clinical experience spans General Paediatrics, Paediatric and Neonatal Emergency Medicine, Adolescent Health, and Behavioural and Developmental Paediatrics.
Her special interests include:
- Complex behavioural conditions such as ADHD, ODD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and eating disorders
- Comprehensive care for children from birth through to 18 years of age
Fluent in Czech and with a good understanding of Russian, Dr Martina is committed to providing inclusive, compassionate care for families from diverse backgrounds.
Outside of medicine, Dr Martina is a proud mother of three. A former scout leader, skydiver, and pianist, she strongly believes in promoting a healthy, active, and balanced lifestyle for both children and their parents.
